Will not return. I went in initially for a focused issue (a breakaway I thought was part of a tooth that left a jagged edge that cuts on my tongue) and asked if a full exam could be done because it's been a while since I've had one. Was told they didn't have time for a full examination on that date. No problem. Doctor looked at the focused area, diagnosed a tartar build up on a tooth that had a piece of the tartar break off, and prescribed a simple cleaning to solve the issue, but they could not do that day. Okay, cool. No problem.
Unmattched customer care service. Never waiting past my appointment time. Overly polite and extremely professional.
I could not possibly more impressed with Suncoast Dentistry. I knew this was our place when my young daughters said THEY loved it.....A DENTIST of all places. So I went and was thrilled. We were going to be moving and decided that if we did, we'd drive back for dental care from Dr. Vu and his team.
Went to schedule the cleaning and was told the earliest appointment was 3 months out. Kind of irritating, but okay. Was pleasantly surprised when I was called later and told I could have an appointment within 2 weeks. Fantastic! Asked about length of visit, was told approximately an hour. Office is 45 minutes away from my job, so I made special arrangements for an extra long lunch on day of appointment to accommodate.
I have been very pleased with Suncoast Dentistry. After going to several dentists since moving to Florida I finally found one that is really good. Dr. Vu is so nice and patient and caring with you. His dental assistants are lovely and friendly as are the front desk girls. Stephanie who cleans my teeth is very good and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Suncoast Dentistry.
Great Experience - Great People. Always a friendly welcome at the desk, which is lacking at almost all doctor's offices. The Dental Hygienist is friendly, helpful, efficient and competent. Finally, the Doctor knows his stuff and provides expert care in a respectful and friendly manner. My teeth look and feel great thanks to the Suncoast Dentistry Team!
So now I rearranged my schedule and wasted nearly a month with an issue that is minor but very annoying when I could have easily had this resolved already by an outfit that is capable of doing the job right in the first place.
The day before the appointment, in the late afternoon, I am called up and told I need to tack on a bunch of extra time to the appointment for X-rays and a full examination (which I asked for in the first place and was refused). I explain that I can't tack on the extra time with such short notice and am basically told "too bad" and that they won't do the cleaning without the new x-rays.
